Teen Mentoring Program
F.E.A.T.'s Teen Mentoring Program was created by our in-house social worker and is a weekly group discussion that provides an excellent opportunity for engaging in meaningful conversation, fostering social awareness, and learning valuable coping skills. These regular meetings allow teens to explore ideas, share insights, and collaborate on topics of mutual interest while also practicing anxiety management techniques. To make the most of this time, it’s beneficial to establish a clear agenda beforehand, ensuring that all participants are prepared and that the discussion remains focused. Active participation should be encouraged, giving everyone the chance to voice their opinions and contribute to the dialogue.
Additionally, incorporating a variety of discussion formats can help keep the meetings dynamic and engaging. Reflecting on the outcomes and setting action items for the following week will help maintain momentum and ensure the group continues to progress toward its goals, fostering both personal growth and collective support.
